The UL2232-002 shares the same refined geometry as the UL2232-001, but is transformed by UNION's proprietary Baked Finish process — a high-temperature curing technique that bonds a powdery matte black coating directly to the stainless steel substrate. The result is a surface of exceptional depth: non-reflective, velvety to the touch, and resistant to the gradual wear that plagues powder-coated alternatives.
In architectural terms, this handle disappears into dark-toned interiors while simultaneously anchoring light-coloured spaces with quiet drama. Favoured by Japanese interior designers for high-end condominium entrances, gallery installations, and boutique hospitality projects where hardware is considered part of the composition, not an afterthought.
