The UL2232-001 is a study in restrained Japanese modernism. Formed from high-grade stainless steel and finished with a hand-drawn hairline texture, every micro-groove runs in perfect parallel — the result of a mechanical brushing process refined over decades at UNION's Osaka atelier. Under natural light, the surface breathes, shifting tone from silver to warm pewter depending on the angle of incidence.
Its proportions — 145 mm of sweep, 50 mm of rise — are calibrated for ergonomic grip without disrupting the visual continuity of a flush door. Specify it in a minimalist residence, a high-end condominium lobby, or any space where architecture is allowed to speak quietly. UNION has been manufacturing architectural hardware since 1946; the UL2232-001 carries that legacy in every brushed millimetre.
